Tips to Control High Blood Pressure

If you are diagnosed to have a High Blood Pressure that is a systolic pressure of 140 or above or a diastolic pressure of 90 or above or with Pre-Hypertension that is a systolic pressure between 120 and 139 or a diastolic pressure between 80 and 89), here are the few tips which will help you controlling it.

  • Exercise Regularly and reduce that extra fat in you, all of us know this point, but we execute it only when we get in to some or other kind of disease. Regular physical activity will surely help you in reducing the blood pressure.
  • Eat a Balance Diet that is eat a diet which is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products. Try to take low cholesterol diet. 
  • Reduce intake of Sodium in you diet even if you reduce sodium little bit in your diet it will greatly help you in reducing the blood pressure.
  • Identify the cause of stress and reduce it , although it is impossible almost to eliminate it completely.
  • Reducing\Cutting off Smoking and Drinking can also help in reducing the blood pressure.
  • Meditation including Yoga also help to maintain the Blood Pressure. Practicing regular yoga helps to reduce weight, which in turn reduces the blood pressure.
