users think they are just promoters or affiliates
So the profile must be very friendly and trustworthy
Do not write only about your blog or product , be bold enough to tell about your hobbies , passion ….etc

Couldn’t agree anymore with you and that’s the fact as 90% of the people try to promote affiliate products, there dirty landing page and moreover they spam with viagra links.. so even a good blog post goes unnoticed in the world of social networking!

I think we should stop trying to look at Social Networks as an extension of the blog to be promoted. It is a forum for readers to potentially know you better. If you were on my FB list of friends you would know what kind of music i like, what are my views. It makes the blogger come across as a real person.
