Promotion tips for new blog
Creating blog and maintaining blog is complicated but you can do it if you learn the method but promoting a blog is very tough because the techniques which were useful for other bloggers for promoting might not work for you. You can’t copy other blogger’s technique but you can take ideas from it.
Here are few tips which will help you to promote your new blog:
1. If it’s second blog: If you already own a blog and you want to promote your new blog then you just need to do few simple things to promote your blog:
· Add a banner or image in sidebar of first blog; images are more attractive than text.
· Add a page on first blog, which gives a peek view and link to your other blog.
2. Email promotions: You can promote your blog through emails. You can read about email advertisement in this article. Whenever you sent an Email remember to add a signature in which your blog URL is written.
3. Networking: This always works for all bloggers who have good online persona. Join social bookmarking websites and forums. Try to be active on these networking websites. This will surely attract visitors for your blog. You can ask other bloggers to make a group and you can post each other’s articles. But don’t force other bloggers to dig, Tweet your articles. Submit blog post to directories and high PR blogs.
4. Arrange contest: Try to start a campaign where you can give away themes or a banner on your blog. It’s easy and you can make readers visit your blog again and again.
5. Unique: If your blog is unique and have best and current content, then your visitors will surely subscribe to your blog. They themselves will rewet and post your article links. So, new bloggers not just copy content, be creative and post article which other find useful.
