Link Building Myths
Building either inbound link or outbound link, both are beneficial for our blog. But we should understand what is the main calculation goes behind link building. If we link to some other blog then they get the benefit and if other blog link to our blog, we get the benefit.
Lots of myths are attached to link building, which always confuse us while link building, here are few myths which are uncovered:
1. More inbound link better the PR: Many people think that they just need to stuff their website/blog with inbound links and that will give them more visitors and good PR. But there are some facts to remember before stuffing any inbound links to your blog. Having quality links are more important than having irrelevant links and keywords. High quality links help you to drive desired traffic and thus results in good PR.
2. Linking to only high ranking blogs: If you can link to high rank blog, its good but it does not give you benefits always. Sometimes low ranking blogs get more traffic then high ranking blogs. Thus, even if you link your blog to low ranking blog which get good quality of traffic then it can help you to drive traffic to your blog also.
3. Link building is better through automated process: There are many links building software but the way human can build quality link software can never make. Software can never make a relevant link building for your blog. When you build link for your blog, you send a mail to other blog owner requesting link building and you mail after doing proper research, which software cannot do.
4. Reciprocal links are not worth: This is totally not true; you can easily get good search engines results because of reciprocal links. It not as important as other links but if you choose a relevant and appropriate link for your website you can easily get advantage of reciprocal links.
5. One time process: Many bloggers feel that building link is only one time process, but it’s not true. You must spend some time at least every week to check out your links and plan a strategy to build more relevant and quality links. This process must go on and on to achieve success.
We should not fall for these myths otherwise and link properly with other blog to drive good traffic and page rank.

The more you work the more you get! If you are getting links from High PR sites then your PageRank will increase fast. Also, we must concentrate on giving out links to sites which are really worth. Linking to Spam content reduces the value of our domain.Anyways, your points are true to the fullest!

Links contribute in PR growth but more importantly it allows better crawling of your pages. imagine you get backlinks from quality websites over a particular anchor text. Now put those anchor texts in mind and create content optimized with them. Now comes the real fun. You build an authority on that anchor text and start getting better ranks and thus organic traffic.
Thus the moral is: before planning to start link building, do proper planning. Consider
* What are the anchor text i will get the link on ?
* Who is linking to me ? Is the blog related to mine ?
* Do i have enough content on the type of linkback i am getting ?
The best way of link building is Content. Write superb content that people will bookmark and link them themselves. Do not hurry on publishing a post. Do enough research and go the extra mile. Someone will find your superb resource post and link it themselves. Beileve me, this works.

Link Building should be strategical as we can not farm links in short time with hope to increase PR faster, link should be relevant and we need both traffic and backlink of same topic. However, I think relationships is rather important nowadays

Blogrolls are inherently do follow. Google doesn’t seem to mind, but will get suspicious if there is an abnormally long list of links on it.
