How to Meditate
Meditation is very useful and we all know its benefits such as it helps to have good sleep, make us stress free, fosters physical health , we can know many religious facts and many more. But to start meditation is really tough. Initially, we might feel uncomfortable but with practice we can medicate anywhere.
Here are some points to remember while meditating:
1. Place: The place which you choose to meditate must be silent, peaceful and calm.
2. Posture: Try to sit on floor with legs folded in prayanam style. Take mat, because while you do meditation you receive positive energy and it should not be grounded, thus always sit on mat. If you are not comfortable on floor you can sit on chair also, but remember your spine should be upright with head up.
3. Concentration: This is the most important task to do. If you feel that you are not able to concentrate, try to focus your attention on your breath or any object. Count your breath while inhaling. The best way is to think about god’s image. It will help you to get positive energy and more concentration.
4. Music: Some time soft and light music can also help you to improve your concentration. Many Meditation music are available in market, you can choose anyone of them and start with your meditation.
5. Thoughts: If you are getting lots of thoughts about your work or family while doing meditation. Try to ignore it peacefully and again start with counting your breath.
6. Feelings: When you are feeling low or frustrated, it becomes difficult to concentrate in meditation. In this situation also don’t avoid doing meditation. Meditation will help you to be more positive towards life.
7. Time : Start your meditation with 5 minutes then increase gradually when u feel that you can concentrate for more time and ready for it. 25 minutes is sufficient time to meditate. Take your own time and pace. No rules and regulations for meditation.

its very helpful for our body and mind relaxation. i try to meditate once a month atleast coz of busy schedule and sometime difficult to find such prefect place to concentrate or relax for meditation.
I tried this tips just for a minute in front of my PC and it did help me relax!
But I always had a question in my mind! Does meditation always help in improving your Concentration power?

I think Its good to meditate but i dont know how exactly to do it and some times i cannot concentrait on work so music gives me some rest
I have tried to meditate, but I guess I was surrounded by to many distractions and noises. I will try to find a peaceful place to start. I do know that soft music normally relaxes me a lot and I feel I can take on more sh*t that this world pops out

I do not meditate everyday but its about once or twice a week. I do not do it for any religious reason but mostly for the medical ones.
Meditation once or twice a week help in recovering hours of sleep in overall you could have missed. It also increase creativity. Normally when am about to write a foundation article on my blog I do it some hours before. And believe me I do get crazy ideas lol.
My prefered location is my basement….I am a bit different as I prefer a slow but ghostly music and it should be in darkness. (My basement and sound system is perfect for it there)
