How to block unwanted application on Facebook
We all love Facebook, but there are some features of Facebook which really irritate when we are busy . Few applications like “sending angels” or any other application which you don’t feel useful but your friends post it to your wall; I found a solution for this problem. You just need to block the application which you don’t like.
Here are simple and easy step to block the unwanted application of facebook:
1. You generally receive a application post on your wall like this –
2. Now click on the name of the application from where you got the post. ( here it is Love)
3. Now go to that page and click on block the application button.
4. You will get a dialog box, to confirm for blocking the application. Click on block Love.
Now, you can easily block the application which your friends post on your wall.
If you want to remove application post from wall, just click on Remove button which will appear when you will take your mouse cursor to the post.
It is good that friends send you different applications but when you have lots of friends and work then it might be difficult to handle such applications. Thus, these steps will help you to block unwanted applications of Facebook.

But now I use a Firefox add-on for hiding all types of annoying applications and news which keeps me irritating all the time (FaceBook Filter). Hope it will be useful for you also

If you want to block an Application just to go it’s page and click on BLOCK APPLICATION ( in blue color). This will help you to block unwanted applications.
Blocking any application means that you don’t want notifications through the applications and hiding means , even if you get notifications, you can hide and don’t publish on your wall.
BLOCK, BLOCK, BLOCK – Facebook gets annoying when your friends send stupid things you have interest in.
Right Agent, it divert your mind as well as consumes time.

Many dont know this feature in facebook. Being a vast application people need to search for ways to get this thing done!!!

Agree with you Wiredcubes, it is better to find ways to get rid of few irritating application.
@Ruchi u dint get my point I asked something else
Log into your Facebook account, then go to http://facebook.com/privacy/ , now click on ” Applications and websites” , now click on “edit blocked applications” in front of “blocked applications”. All the applications you have blocked will be listed here, Simple click “remove” and then “save changes”. the application will now be unblocked.
