Well it is right saying An Apple a Day keeps the Doctor Away, if doctor is handsome (or beautiful) keep the apple away.
That was on lighter side but apple is really beneficial, following are the reasons for it:
1. Apple helps in reducing the cholesterol levels because of high amount of antioxidants it contains.
2. Antioxidants in Apple also help in promoting the weight loss.
3. Apple contains antioxidants which also help in preventing the body from various types of cancer as well as heart disease.
4. Apple helps in reducing the skin diseases.
5. Apple a day can keep Alzheimer’s away.
6. Apple contains malic and tartaric acid, that can help preventing problems associated with liver and digestion.
7. Apple contains pectin which act as a dietary fiber and help in maintain good digestive system.
8. Keeping Apple pulp on eye lids for 15-20 minutes relieves you from stress and relaxes your eye muscles.
9. Green apple helps in improving your digestive system.
10. Apple can prevent osteoporosis by increasing bone density and strength.

I like APPY apple fruit juice. Some times eat apples.
My son loves apples and I usually have to buy more for him. It’s also a nice little snack if one is in a rush.
You are lucky that your son likes apple…kids usual hate healthy things and parents have to rush behind them

Fresh produce is so important and delicious. I wish that it was less expensive and more widespread.
I know growing up my mother always had fruit in the house, and I am so glad she got me in the habit of eating fruit everyday when I was so young. If I have an apple I almost always cut it up. I think it just makes me nostalgic for school lunches.

I rarely eat apples all though I really should, my kids plow through apples almost on a daily basis so at least I can keep them healthy.
