A great resume basically requires careful preparation, attention to detail, selection of the right type of resume for your work background and objective, and meticulous follow-through.

1. A great resume promote you as an employment candidate by highlighting your capabilities and accomplishments. It focuses on the successes of your work and the contributions you have made in your previous employment. A great resume describes the tasks you executed, the actions you took, and the benefits you delivered to the organization for which you worked. Pointing out your finest qualities is, the best way to distinguish yourself form others.
2. A great resume is accurate and truthful. It describes your employment record in the superlative way, but never by making false statements, fudging the facts, or exaggerating your accomplishments.
